Must be You Tube Mechanic certified to make people take the whole manifold. If people did do it that way you screwed people up you should take this video down.

There's conflicting information on what length belt to use for the NC1 MX-5/Miatas. Comments in various forums/threads state 2245 mm. This would explain why your 2240 mm length belt was so difficult to install - it's 5 mm shorter, and trying to stretch that belt with human muscle while in a weird position over the engine bay is really hard to do. Unfortunately, sites like Amazon and NAPA recommend 2240 mm; I do not know where that data comes from. Use a 2245 mm length belt, and install will be much easier.
